John Frost is a man that represents the blue collar worker. Honest, hard working and with a lotta backbone. This son of a soldier has been working hard over the last year to finish up his official debut album, “Love, Life, Trials and Tribulations”. John grew up travelling around the globe and can be called a citizen of the world, and is sharing his wisdoms of life and love on this album. Love, Life.. became an album in the truest sense of the word, lyrics with topics grabbed straight out of life, a fantastic and coherent musical backdrop, and enjoyable from beginning to end. The productions come from producers extra ordinaire Jeejaa, of whom we can never get enough at Super Nice, and Phonc, who is known from John’s previously released EP Who Is… John Frost? Featurings come from the talented Cedric Salah, the Front Porch Poets, HP, Sel and MadEye. Make sure to grab the free download below, and if you have the chance to see John with his live band The Souldiers this coming summer, don’t miss it!!

What happens when UK label Associated Minds and the Dutch Super Nice Music come together? It creates a Basketcase. Producer Lemonface from Amsterdam creates a funky soundtrack for the slightly screwed up in the head Ralph Rip Shit to go lyrically bananas on. The dynamic duo are working on a project together and this single is first evidence of that to see the light of day. Expect more from these crusaders in the coming months!

Super Nice Music is proud to present The BUMS, two of the few honest and true Hip Hop craftsmen still out there. The album, “Like This”, is a re-release of the 2008 debut of the duo hailing from North Carolina, and contains a never before released bonus track. We bring you this overlooked gem with the announcement that The BUMS are back with new music coming in 2012.
The BUMS are MO (MC, Producer) from Richmond, VA and TJ Hooky aka Dick Grayson (Producer) from Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA. The acronym BUMS stands for Building Up Musical Sounds, and not without reason. Both MO and TJ come from Hip Hop’s golden age, both produce music and like to blend the all-time great American music like R&B, Soul, Jazz and Funk with the classic Hip Hop from the likes of Dilla, Pete Rock, Madlib, DJ Premier and Dr. Dre.
The BUMS met in 2002 through a mutual friend and shortly after started working on their debut LP, entitled Like This. Although originally released in 2008, the Super Nice crew feels like this LP is not recognized for what it is, a true Hip Hop classic, and therefore decided to re-release the long player to give it the shine it deserves. This fourth Super Nice release is just a warm up to more and better things to come from the unique duo that is The BUMS!
Currently The BUMS are hard at work in the studio to finish off two new projects: A Beautiful World and Bumtacular Fleets, which are both expected to be released on Super Nice Music in 2012. After releasing these two projects MO and TJ hope to expand the sound of The BUMS to different genres such as Jazz/Instrumental and R&B projects.

After the successful release of his instrumental debut, Insomniac Music, Dave Redi is now back with the visuals for a favourite of the project, Days Dawn.
The Days Dawn video takes us on a journey through Arnhem, a city in the eastern part of the Netherlands and home base to Dave himself. The visual displayed is Arnhem through the eyes of Dave on one of his many journeys through the city, on his way to befriended beatmakers, his girlfriend or the innercity. Travel along and vibe to this little bit of travelling music.
You can still download Insomniac Music below for FREE!

Dutch collective/label Super Nice Music presents its first release, “Insomniac Music” by producer Dave Redi. The beatsmith has the honor of having the first full length release on Super Nice Music Group with his instrumental debut dropping today.
Insomniac Music, the title says it all. After a 40 hour work week we can often find Dave in his home studio, crafting beats until the wee small hours of the morning. Hangovers, crusty voice and scruffy look and periorbital dark circles under his eyes, but Dave goes in just as hard the next night to do it all over again, which is characteristic for his drive and passion in this music game.
The Front Porch Poets producer, who was responsible for the bulk of the productions on their well received “For The Record” debut LP, spent the last six months crafting in the lab to deliver something special. “Insomniac Music” is Super Nice Music, and this is just the beginning.

Dave Redi, born in the Netherlands but raised in Canada, is mostly known for his work as both a producer and an emcee as one third of the Front Porch Poets. But since we realize not everybody may be familiar with his work, Dave (re)introduces himself in this video interview. He talks on his inspirations, his past and his future, and what’s behind the title of this LP. “Insomniac Music” will be his first instrumental release and also the very first release on Super Nice Music. Be sure to check to check out the website on the 28th of October!

Super Nice Music Group is proud to present the warm up to our first full length release! Dave Redi, one third of the Front Porch Poets and member of Super Nice Music will be dropping his instrumental debut “Insomniac Music” on the newfound label October 28th. Until then we have some goodies lined up to keep you warm, like this one right here. Friendly Skies is a cut that’s not on the album but serves as nice little taster of what’s to come. With a well known Marvin sample and drums smooth as butter this track represents Dave and partially the kind of moods that can be found on “Insomniac Music”. Stay tuned for more to come!!
